I Ghati o Gati orientali (in inglese Eastern Ghats) sono una catena montuosa dell'India che corre lungo la costa orientale affacciandosi sul golfo del Bengala. Formano una catena di montagne molto erose e segmentata dal percorso dei quattro principali fiumi dell'India meridionale, il Godavari, il Mahanadi, il Krishna e il Kaveri, nascenti tutti nella catena dei Ghati occidentali. Composti da basalto nero, le vette sono più basse rispetto a quelle dei Ghati occidentali e il punto culminante è raggiunto nello Stato indiano dell'Orissa.

The Eastern Ghats are a discontinuous range of mountains along India's eastern coast. The Eastern Ghats pass through Odisha, Andhra Pradesh to Tamil Nadu in the south passing some parts of Karnataka as well as Telangana. They are eroded and cut through by four major rivers of peninsular India, viz. Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna, and Kaveri. Doli Gutta with 965 m height is the tallest peak of Eastern ghats in Telangana. Odaikkan Betta is the tallest point of Eastern Ghats in Tamil Nadu. Deomali with 1672 m height is the tallest point in Odisha. Arma Konda/Jindhagada Peak with 1680 m is the highest point in Andhra Pradesh. BR hill range located in Karnataka is the tallest hill range in Eastern Ghats with many peaks above 1750 m height. Kattahi betta in BR hills with the height of 1822 m is the tallest peak in Eastern Ghats. Thalamalai hill range in Tamil Nadu is the second tallest hill range. Arakku range is the third tallest hill range.

Les Ghats orientaux sont une chaîne discontinue de montagnes érodées, limitant le plateau du Deccan dans l'Est de l'Inde. Elle est segmentée par le cours des quatre fleuves principaux de l'Inde méridionale : le Godavari, le Mahanadi, la Krishna, et la Kaveri, lesquels prennent leur source dans les Ghats occidentaux. Les sommets y sont moins élevés que dans la chaîne des Ghats occidentaux avec une altitude moyenne de 700 m à peine, mais culminent cependant à 1 300 m en Odisha. Ils y sont principalement composés de basaltes noirs.
