Chopok (2.024 m) è la seconda cima in ordine di altezza dei Bassi Tatra (nei Carpazi), catena montuosa della Slovacchia centrale. Il monte è raggiungibile facilmente con una seggiovia e sulla cima è presente uno chalet, chiamato Kamenná chata.

La cima offre una vista panoramica degli Alti Tatra, di Liptov e della valle del fiume Hron. Le pareti nord e sud sono tra le più gettonate mete sciistiche della Slovacchia, con le stazioni sciistiche di Jasná a nord e Srdiečko e Tále a sud.

Der Chopok ist mit 2023,6 m Höhe nach dem Ďumbier (2043,4 m) und der Štiavnica (2025,3 m) der dritthöchste Gipfel der Niederen Tatra. Er liegt zwischen den Bergen Dereše und Konské. Seine Nordseite ist gekennzeichnet durch Steinwände und tief eingeschnittene Schluchten, die zum Nordosten hin in das Becken des Luková-Tales übergehen, wo sich Moränenreste abgelagert haben und auch noch einen kleinen See bildeten, während die Südseite mit Felsbrocken übersäte Hänge hat.

Chopok (2,024 m) is the third highest peak of the Low Tatra range (just after the neighboring Ďumbier and Štiavnica mountains) in central Slovakia. The peak offers a panoramatic view of High Tatra, Liptov and the valley of Hron. There is a chalet (called Kamenná chata) located near the summit.
