Les Montes Haemus (vers 17°N 13°E) sont une chaîne de montagnes lunaires nommée d'après le sommet balkanique du Mont Hémus par Johannes Hevelius[1]. Elle s'étire sur près de 400 kilomètres sur les bordures sud-ouest et sud de la Mer de la Sérénité[2].

Montes Haemus is a mountain range that forms the southwestern edge of the Mare Serenitatis basin on the Moon. They form a less prominent mirror image of the Montes Apenninus range to the west, and curve up to nearly join at the northern end. The eastern edge terminates with the Promontorium Archerusia, to the northwest of the crater Plinius. This end reaches a gap where the Mare Serenitatis to the north joins the Mare Tranquillitatis to the south.

Гемские горы (лат. Montes Haemus) — горный хребет на Луне. Тянется вдоль юго-западного края Моря Ясности. Северо-западная оконечность хребта соединяется с лунными Апеннинами[1], юго-восточная оконечность переходит в мыс Архерузия (Promontorium Archerusia)[2] на границе между Морем Ясности и Морем Спокойствия, вблизи кратера Плиний.
