La montagne est recouverte de plusieurs glaciers. La rivière Entiat prend sa source entre son versant Sud-Ouest et le versant Ouest du Seven Fingered Jack.

Der Mount Fernow (Chelan County) ist ein Gipfel in den North Cascades im County Chelan im US-Bundesstaat Washington. Er liegt in der Glacier Peak Wilderness des Wenatchee National Forest. Der USGS gibt die Höhe mit 2767 m an.[2] Nach inoffiziellen Quellen soll er mit 9.249 ft (2.819 m) Höhe der achthöchste Berg[3] und der dritthöchste nichtvulkanische Gipfel in Washington sein.[4] Er ist außerdem der höchste Gipfel der Entiat Mountains, einer Teilkette der Kaskaden.[4] Mount Fernows Schartenhöhe beträgt 2.811 ft (857 m), was ihn zum Berg mit der sechzehntgrößten Schartenhöhe in Washington macht. Der nächste höhere Gipfel ist der Bonanza Peak, etwa 5,9 mi (9,5 km) nördlich.[3]

Mount Fernow is a tall peak in the North Cascades in the U.S. state of Washington and within the Glacier Peak Wilderness of the Wenatchee National Forest. At 9,249 feet (2,819 m) in elevation it is the eighth-highest peak in Washington[1] and the state's third-highest non-volcanic peak.[3] It is also the highest peak of the Entiat Mountains, a sub-range of the Cascades.[3] Mount Fernow's prominence is 2,811 ft (857 m), making it the sixtieth-most-prominent peak in Washington. The closest peak to Fernow is Copper Peak, 0.88 mi (1.42 km) to the north, and the nearest higher peak is Bonanza Peak, 5.9 mi (9.5 km) to the north.[1]

Il monte Fernow (in inglese Mount Fernow) è un'alta vetta compresa nelle North Cascades, una sezione della più vasta catena delle Cascate, nello stato del Washington e all'interno della riserva naturale di Glacier Peak della foresta nazionale di Wenatchee National. Con i suoi 2819 m s.l.m., costituisce l'ottava vetta più alta di Washington e la terza cima non vulcanica maggiore dello stato.[1][2] Risulta inoltre la vetta più elevata tra i monti Entiat, un sottogruppo delle Cascate.[2] Grazie alla sua prominenza topografica pari a 875 m, resta il sessantesimo picco più importante nel Washington. La vetta maggiormente vicina è Copper Peak, 1,42 km a nord, mentre più alta a poca distanza è Bonanza Peak, a 9,6 km a nord.[1]
