Il peut être atteint à la fois par le nord (depuis le Falkenjoch) ou par le sud (depuis l'Oberen Gaisalpsee). Les deux voies nécessitent du matériel pour l'ascension.

Der Entschenkopf ist ein 2043 m ü. NHN hoher Berg in den Allgäuer Alpen. Sein nach Süden streichender Bergkamm bildet die östliche Begrenzung des Gaisalptals.

Entschenkopf is a mountain in the Allgäu Alps of Bavaria, Germany. Its mountain ridge, which stretches southwards, forms the eastern boundary of the Gaisalp valley. The Entschenkopf can be reached both from the north (from the Falkenjoch) and from the south (from the Upper Gaisalp Lake).[2][3]
