Le chaînon Santa Lucia (Santa Lucia Mountains ou Santa Lucia Range en anglais) est une chaîne de montagnes située sur le littoral de la Californie, entre Monterey et San Luis Obispo. Son point culminant est le pic Junipero Serra (1 784 mètres) dans les comtés de Monterey et San Luis Obispo. Elle fait partie des chaînes côtières du Pacifique.

Das Santa-Lucia-Gebirge (englisch Santa Lucia Range oder Santa Lucia Mountains) ist eine Bergkette an der Küste Kaliforniens. Das Gebirge ist Teil der Southern Coast Ranges, eines Teiles der kalifornischen Küstengebirge. Es gehört weit überwiegend zum Monterey County, nur seine südlichen Ausläufer ragen in das San Luis Obispo County. Bekannt sind die Santa-Lucia-Berge als Hinterland des Küstenstreifens Big Sur am California Highway No. 1.[1]

The Santa Lucia Mountains (sæntə luˈsiːə) or Santa Lucia Range is a rugged mountain range in coastal central California, running from Carmel southeast for 140 miles (230 km) to the Cuyama River in San Luis Obispo County. The range is never more than 11 miles (18 km) from the coast.[2]: 11  The range forms the steepest coastal slope in the contiguous United States.[2] Cone Peak at 5,158 feet (1,572 m) tall and three miles (5 km) from the coast, is the highest peak in proximity to the ocean in the lower 48 United States.[3] The range was a barrier to exploring the coast of central California for early Spanish explorers.
