Der Cerro Azul liegt am Südwestende der Galápagosinsel Isabela. Der Vulkan wird von einer steilwandigen Caldera mit einem Durchmesser von 4 × 5 Kilometern und einer maximalen Tiefe von 650 Metern beherrscht.

Cerro Azul (Spanish: Blue Hill) is a shield volcano on the south western part of Isabela Island in the Galápagos Islands. At a height of 1,689 m (5,541 ft) it is the second highest peak in the Galapagos and due to its topographic prominence of over 1,500 m (4,921 ft) it is categorised as an ultra.[1] The volcano is one of the most active in the Galapagos, with the last eruption between May and June 2008.

Серро-Асуль[2] (исп. Cerro Azul — «синий холм») — щитовидный вулкан на острове Исабела, острова Галапагос. Активный вулкан. Форма вулкана — пологий конус с огромным кратером на вершине и боковым шлаковым конусом с озером. Последнее извержение произошло в 2008 году. До этого он извергался осенью 1980 года. Рядом с ним находится вулкан Санто-Томас.
