La sierra de Cantabria (en euskera Toloñoko mendilerroa o Kantabriako mendilerroa) es un sistema montañoso del norte de España que atraviesa las provincias de Burgos, La Rioja, Álava y Navarra. Habitualmente se subdivide en tres partes: La sierra de Toloño entre las Conchas de Haro y Peñacerrada, otra zona sin sobrenombre llamada únicamente sierra de Cantabria y la sierra de Codés.[1] Desde la Llanada alavesa, la sierra de Cantabria es el último límite natural antes de adentrarse en las vegas de la Rioja alavesa, en el valle del Ebro.
