Das Schmalhorn ist ein 1952 m hoher Berg in den Allgäuer Alpen. Der unscheinbare Berg liegt im Himmelschrofenzug zwischen dem Hinteren Wildgundkopf und der Sattelzone des Einödsberges. Am Schmalhorn verläuft die Grenze des Übergangs vom Hauptdolomit im Norden zu den weicheren Fleckenmergeln im Süden. Die Schartenhöhe des Schmalhorns beträgt mindestens 52 Meter[1], seine Dominanz 600 Meter, wobei jeweils der Hintere Wildgundkopf Referenzberg ist.
