The Gibloux Radio Tower, operated by Swisscom, is located on the mountain's southern summit, with an accessible public viewing platform, and views stretching in every direction.[2]

Der Gibloux ist ein den Freiburger Alpen vorgelagerter Höhenzug in der Westschweiz und mit 1205 m ü. M. die höchste Erhebung des Freiburger Mittellandes, rund 17 km südwestlich der Stadt Freiburg (Luftlinie). Der frühere deutsche Name Gibel ist heute nicht mehr gebräuchlich.
