Holy Mountains (Ukrainian: Святі гори)(Russian: Святые горы) is the name of chalk hills on the right bank of Seversky Donets within the northern portion of Donetsk Oblast. The Holy Mountains are closely associated with (and eponymous of) the Sviatohirsk Lavra monastery. The hills are part of the Donets upland located in the East Ukraine. The Holy Mountains National Nature Park was established in 1997.
