Buckley Island (84°57′S 164°0′E) is an island-like mountain massif, surmounted by the peaks of Mount Bartlett, Mount Buckley and Mount Bowers, rising above the ice at the middle of the head of Beardmore Glacier in Antarctica. It was discovered by the British Antarctic Expedition (1907-09) and named in association with Mount Buckley, 2,645 m, its highest peak.

Die Buckley-Insel ist ein Nunatak in der Antarktis, der im Transantarktischen Gebirge unweit des Polarplateaus vom Beardmore-Gletscher umflossen wird. Die höchste Erhebung des inselartigen Massivs, Mount Buckley, erreicht eine Höhe von 2645 m.[1] Entdeckt wurde es durch Teilnehmer der Nimrod-Expedition (1907–1909) unter Leitung des britischen Polarforschers Ernest Shackleton (1874–1922). Benannt ist es nach dem neuseeländischen Schafzüchter George Alexander McLean Buckley (1866–1937), einem der Sponsoren der Expedition.
