Belgica Mountains is an isolated chain of mountains about 10 miles (16 km) long, standing 60 miles (97 km) east-southeast of the Sor Rondane Mountains in Queen Maud Land, in the Antarctic. The chain was discovered by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition (1957-1958) under Gaston de Gerlache, and named after the ship Belgica, commanded by his father, Lt. Adrien de Gerlache, leader of the Belgian Antarctic Expedition of 1897–99.[1]

Die Belgica Mountains (französisch Monts Belgica, norwegisch Belgicafjella) sind eine isolierte, etwa 15 km lange Bergkette in der Antarktis, die sich etwa 100 km ost-südöstlich des Gebirges Sør Rondane im Königin-Maud-Land befindet. Höchster Berg der Belgica Mountains ist der Mount Victor mit einer Höhe von 2590 m.[1]

Les montagnes Belgica (72° 35′ S, 31° 15′ E) sont une chaîne de montagnes isolées d'environ 15 kilomètres de long se trouvant à une centaine de kilomètres est-sud-est des montagnes Sor Rondane dans la terre de la Reine Maud. La chaîne montagneuse fut découverte par l'expédition antarctique belge de 1957-1958 menée par Gaston de Gerlache de Gomery, et fut nommée d'après le nom du navire Belgica, commandé par son père, le lieutenant Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery, à la tête de l'expédition antarctique belge de 1897-1899.

Le montagne Belgica sono un catena montuosa dell'Antartide. Situata nella Terra della Regina Maud e in particolare in corrispondenza della costa della Principessa Ragnhild, la catena si snoda per circa 16 km a est-sud-est delle montagne Sør Rondane, da cui dista 100 km, e a nord delle montagne del Principe de Ligne, da cui dista 16 km, e i suoi picchi più alti raggiungono un'altezza di 2.590 m s.l.m. con il monte Victor. Tra le altre vette della formazione, si possono citare il monte Boë (2.520 m), il monte Van der Essen (2.525 m) e il monte Imbert (2.495 m).
