Rice Bastion ist ein rund 1700 m hoher und wuchtiger Berg mit kleiner Gipfelkrone im Grahamland auf der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Er ragt 13 km südwestlich des Mount Elliott am Rand des Detroit-Plateaus auf.

Vermessungen des Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) zwischen 1960 und 1961 dienten seiner Karteriung. Das UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee benannte ihn nach Lee Rice (1927–2010), der von 1957 bis 1958 für den FIDS auf der Station in der Hope Bay sowie in diesem Gebiet tätig war.

Rice Bastion (.mw-parser-output .geo-default,.mw-parser-output .geo-dms,.mw-parser-output .geo-dec{display:inline}.mw-parser-output .geo-nondefault,.mw-parser-output .geo-multi-punct{display:none}.mw-parser-output .longitude,.mw-parser-output .latitude{white-space:nowrap}64°27′S 60°19′W) is a substantial mountain mass surmounted by a small crown of exposed rock which appears slightly higher than the plateau behind it, projecting from the edge of Detroit Plateau, Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Situated between the upper courses of Darvari Glacier and Boryana Glacier, 8 miles (13 km) southwest of Mount Elliott and 8.8 miles (14 km) north-northwest of Fothergill Point. Mapped from surveys by Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1960–61). Named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) for Lee Rice, FIDS surveyor at Hope Bay (1957–58), who worked in this area.
