Mount Holmes ist ein 1440 m hoher und pfeilerartiger Berg an der Foyn-Küste des Grahamlands im Norden der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Er ragt 5 km nordwestlich des Mount Hayes auf.

1947 wurde er vom Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) kartiert und bei der US-amerikanischen Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948) aus der Luft fotografiert. Der FIDS benannte den Berg nach dem Bibliografen und Verwaltungsbeamten Maurice Gerald Holmes (1885–1964), der 1936 eine Biografie über den britischen Seefahrer und Entdecker James Cook verfasst hatte.

Mount Holmes is a buttress-type mountain, 1,440 metres (4,720 ft), standing 3 nautical miles (6 km; 3 mi) northwest of Mount Hayes on the east coast of Graham Land, Antarctica. It was charted in 1947 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS), and photographed from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE) under Finn Ronne. The mountain was named by the FIDS for Maurice Holmes, author of An Introduction to the Bibliography of Captain James Cook R.N. (London, 1936).[1]
