Mount Holmboe ist ein 1730 m hoher Berg im westantarktischen Ellsworthland. Er ragt 1,5 km nördlich des Mount Liavaag und 11 km nordwestlich des Mount Weems am äußersten nördlichen Ende der Sentinel Range des Ellsworthgebirges auf.

Der US-amerikanische Polarforscher Lincoln Ellsworth entdeckte ihn bei seinem Transantarktikflug am 23. November 1935. Das Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names benannte ihn 1961 nach dem norwegisch-US-amerikanischen Meteorologen Jørgen Holmboe (1902–1979), Teilnehmer an Ellsworths Antarktisexpedition von 1933 bis 1934.

Mount Holmboe (.mw-parser-output .geo-default,.mw-parser-output .geo-dms,.mw-parser-output .geo-dec{display:inline}.mw-parser-output .geo-nondefault,.mw-parser-output .geo-multi-punct{display:none}.mw-parser-output .longitude,.mw-parser-output .latitude{white-space:nowrap}77°20′S 86°35′W) is a mountain, 1,730 metres (5,680 ft) high, standing 1 nautical mile (2 km) north of Mount Liavaag and 7 nautical miles (13 km) northwest of Mount Weems near the extreme north end of the Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains of Antarctica. It was discovered by Lincoln Ellsworth on his trans-Antarctic flight of November 23, 1935, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Dr. Jørgen Holmboe, a meteorologist on Ellsworth's Antarctic expedition of 1933–34.[1]
