Die Miranda Peaks sind eine Gebirgskette aus sechs bis zu 500 m hohen Bergen im Osten der westantarktischen Alexander-I.-Insel. Sie verteilen sich entlang der Südflanke des Uranus-Gletschers in nord-südlicher Ausrichtung.

Luftaufnahmen des US-amerikanischen Polarforschers Lincoln Ellsworth vom 23. November 1935 dienten dem US-amerikanischen Kartographen W. L. G. Joerg der Kartierung. Das UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee benannte sie 1974 in Anlehnung an die Benennung des Uranus-Gletschers nach dem Uranusmond Miranda.

The Miranda Peaks (.mw-parser-output .geo-default,.mw-parser-output .geo-dms,.mw-parser-output .geo-dec{display:inline}.mw-parser-output .geo-nondefault,.mw-parser-output .geo-multi-punct{display:none}.mw-parser-output .longitude,.mw-parser-output .latitude{white-space:nowrap}71°28′S 68°36′W) are a line of about six peaks trending in a north–south direction on the south side of Uranus Glacier, in eastern Alexander Island, Antarctica. They were photographed by Lincoln Ellsworth on November 23, 1935, in the course of a trans-Antarctic flight and were plotted from the air photos by W.L.G. Joerg. The peaks were named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee from association with Uranus Glacier after Miranda, one of the 31 moons of the planet Uranus, the seventh planet of the Solar System.[1]
