Der Cloud Peak liegt an der Grenze von Johnson County und Big Horn County in Wyoming und stellt die höchste Erhebung beider Countys dar. Als höchster Gipfel der isolierten Bighorn Mountains hat der Cloud Peak mit 2157 m die größte topografische Prominenz im Bundesstaat, nur wenige Zentimeter mehr als der höchste Berg des Staates, der 4210 m hohe Gannett Peak, und die fünfzehntgrößte in den Contiguous United States.[1][2][3][4]

Cloud Peak is the highest peak within the Bighorn Mountains in the U.S. state of Wyoming. It rises to an elevation of 13,171 feet (4,015 m)[1] and provides onlookers with dramatic views and vistas. The mountain can be climbed most easily from the western side, accessed by either the Battle Park or West Tensleep trail-heads and is roughly 24 miles round-trip from both. The peak is located in the 189,000 acre (765 km²) Cloud Peak Wilderness within Bighorn National Forest. The northeast slope of Cloud Peak is a deep cirque which harbors Cloud Peak Glacier, the last active glacier in the Bighorn Mountains.

Le pic Cloud, en anglais : Cloud Peak, est le point culminant des monts Big Horn dans l'État du Wyoming, aux États-Unis. Il s'élève à une altitude de 4 013 m et offre un vaste panorama. La montagne peut être escaladée facilement du côté ouest, soit par le parc Battle, soit par les points de départ des sentiers West Tensleep, et se trouve à environ 40 km aller-retour des deux. Le sommet est situé dans la réserve naturelle de Cloud Peak Wilderness, d'une superficie de 765 km2, dans la forêt nationale de Bighorn.
