Delma (arabisch دلما, DMG Dalmā) ist eine vulkanische Insel vor der Küste Abu Dhabis. Sie hat eine Größe von neun mal fünf Kilometern in nord-südlicher Ausrichtung, ohne die künstlich aufgefüllte südliche Halbinsel. Die Fläche beträgt insgesamt 36,57 km².[1] In den zentralen Bergen erreicht sie eine Höhe von 98 Metern.[2]

Dalma island (Arabic: جزيرة دلما) is an Emirati island located in the Persian Gulf approximately 42 kilometres (26 mi) off the coast of Abu Dhabi The island is served by the Dalma Airport (IATA: ZDY) and by a mainland ferry. The island has multiple fresh water wells, which made human settlement possible historically. It has a population of approximately 5000 in the 2000 census.[1]
