Alrø ist eine dänische Insel im Horsens Fjord. Sie ist 7 km lang, 5 km breit und hat eine Fläche von 7,51 km²[2], der höchste Punkt liegt 15 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Sie bildet eine eigene Kirchspielsgemeinde (dän.: Sogn) Alrø Sogn, die bis 1970 zur Harde Hads Herred im damaligen Århus Amt gehörte, danach zur Odder Kommune im erweiterten Århus Amt, die seit der Kommunalreform zum 1. Januar 2007 zur Region Midtjylland gehört. Alrø hat 152 Einwohner (Stand: 1. Januar 2021).[1][en] Alrø
Alrø is a small Danish island in Horsens Fjord on the east coast of Jutland within Odder Municipality.The island is 7.52 km long with a coastline of 14 km, and stretches a little over 5 km wide from east to west.[1] With a population of 147 as of January 2013,[2] the island can be reached by road over an artificial causeway which connects it to the mainland on the northern side of the fjord. Alrø has been inhabited continuously since the Stone Age up to modern times, with possible additional usage during the Viking Age as a landing site.[citation needed]- [es] Alrø
