Vaigattøyane is a group of islands in Hinlopen Strait, between Spitsbergen and Nordaustlandet of the Svalbard archipelago. The island group is named after Waygat, a previous name of Hinlopenstretet.[1]

The largest island of the group is Wahlbergøya,[2] while other islands are Von Otterøya,[3] Nyströmøya[4] and Berggrenøya.[5]

Les Vaigattøyane forment un archipel inhabité de Norvège, au nord du Svalbard, situé au sud du détroit d'Hinlopen. L'archipel fait partie de la Réserve naturelle de Nordaust-Svalbard depuis sa création en 1973.
