Turret Island (71°22′S 169°13′E) is a small island, ice-covered except for the north face. It lies partly within the seaward terminus of Shipley Glacier, 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) west of Flat Island, along the north coast of Victoria Land. The rocky north end projecting from the glacier is suggestive of a turret. It was charted and named by the Northern Party, led by Campbell, of the British Antarctic Expedition, 1910–13.

Turret Island (von englisch turret ‚Mauerturm, Kanzel, Rondell‘) ist eine kleine und bis auf die Nordseite vereiste Insel vor der Pennell-Küste des ostantarktischen Viktorialands. Sie liegt 1,5 km westlich von Flat Island im Mündungsgebiet des Shipley-Gletschers.

L'isola Turret è un'isola montuosa della Terra Vittoria, in Antartide. L'isola, la cui superficie risulta del tutto coperta dai ghiacci tranne che nella parte settentrionale, si trova in particolare davanti alla costa di Pennell ed è situata circa un chilometro a ovest dell'estremità occidentale della baia di Robertson, costituita da capo Barrow, la punta nord-orientale dell'isola Flat. L'isola si trova poi, così come la già citata isola Flat, in prossimità dello sbocco sul mare del ghiacciaio Shipley, i cui ghiacci circondano la sua costa meridionale.[1]
