Hoseason Island is an island 11 kilometres (6 nmi) long and 6 kilometres (3 nmi) wide, lying 37 kilometres (20 nmi) west of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. This name, which has appeared on charts for over 100 years, commemorates James Hoseason, first mate on the Sprightly, an Enderby Brothers sealing ship which operated in these waters in 1824–25.[1]

Hoseason Island ist eine ca. 9 km lange und 4,5 km breite Insel im nördlichen Teil des Palmer-Archipels vor der Westküste des Grahamlands auf der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Sie liegt etwa 20 km nordnordöstlich von Liège Island und 30 km westlich von Trinity Island. Von Low Island im Archipel der Südlichen Shetlandinseln ist sie durch die Bransfield-Straße getrennt.
