Santa Bárbara (portugiesisch Ilha de Santa Bárbara)[1] ist eine Insel der Abrolhos, einer kleinen Inselgruppe, gelegen rund 55 Kilometer vor der Atlantikküste des brasilianischen Bundesstaats Bahia bei Ponta da Baleia, etwa in Höhe der Stadt Caravelas.

Ilha de Santa Bárbara (transl. Santa Barbara Island) is the largest island in the Abrolhos Archipelago and the only inhabited island in Brazil that has infrastructure, being 1.5 km (0.93 mi) long, 300 m (980 ft) wide and 35 m (115 ft) above sea level, it belongs to the Brazilian Navy and is not included in the limits of Abrolhos Marine National Park[1] nor under its jurisdiction and because it is a military base, the disembarkation is expressly prohibited, being allowed only with authorization of the II Naval District, located in Salvador.
