Nob Island (in der Kurzform von englisch knob,[1] deutsch ‚Knopf, Knubbel, Knauf‘) ist eine Insel im Wilhelm-Archipel vor der Westküste der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Sie ist die größte in der Gruppe der Anagram Islands und liegt auf der Südseite der French Passage.

Das UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee benannte sie 1961. Namensgebend ist eine schwarze und nahezu eisfreie Felsformation an der Nordseite der Insel, die als hilfreiche Landmarke für die Navigation durch die French Passage dient.

Nob Island is the largest of the Anagram Islands, lying on the south side of French Passage in the Wilhelm Archipelago. So named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1961 because there is a black knob of rock, almost permanently snow free, on the north side of the island which is a useful navigational mark for vessels using French Passage; nob is a spelling of knob.
