Die Isola Minore (italienisch für „Kleinere Insel“, bis ins 19. Jahrhundert auch Isoletta „Inselchen“) ist die kleinste der drei Inseln im Trasimenischen See. Sie liegt etwa 1,5 km südwestlich von Passignano sul Trasimeno, zu dessen Gemeindegebiet sie gehört, und etwa 500 Meter östlich der größeren Insel Isola Maggiore.

Die fünf Hektar große Insel ist dicht bewaldet, hauptsächlich mit Steineichen und Pinien. Sie beherbergt eine Brutkolonie von Kormoranen.
Die Insel war bis in das 14. Jahrhundert dauerhaft bewohnt, wurde dann aber von den Bewohnern wegen häufiger Raubüberfälle aufgegeben. Danach bot sie nur noch gelegentlich Eremiten Zuflucht. Heute befindet sie sich in Privatbesitz und ist unbewohnt.

Isola Minore, known until the twentieth century simply as l'isoletta (‘the little island’), is the smallest of the three islands of Lago Trasimeno in central Italy, and the closest to Passignano sul Trasimeno within whose municipal boundaries it lies.[1] It rises to about 20 metres above the level of the lake (itself 258 m above sea level), and takes the form of a comma with dimensions of about 450 x 260 m and an area of some 5 hectares. It is about 470 m NE of the larger island of Isola Maggiore. Isola Minore is covered by woodland, with pines and holm oaks providing protection for the nesting sites of numerous cormorants.[fr] Île Mineure
