Die Fowler-Inseln sind eine Gruppe kleiner Inseln vor der Loubet-Küste des Grahamlands auf der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Sie gehören zum Archipel der Biscoe-Inseln und liegen im Crystal Sound zwischen den Bernal- und den Bragg-Inseln.

Kartiert wurden sie anhand von Vermessungen, die der Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey zwischen 1958 und 1959 durchführte, sowie mittels Luftaufnahmen der US-amerikanischen Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948) und ebensolchen der Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956–1957). Das UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee benannte sie 1960 nach dem britischen Physiker Ralph Howard Fowler (1889–1944), der 1933 gemeinsam mit John Desmond Bernal eine Abhandlung über die Kristallstruktur von Eis und die Lokalisation des Wasserstoffatoms verfasst hatte.

The Fowler Islands (.mw-parser-output .geo-default,.mw-parser-output .geo-dms,.mw-parser-output .geo-dec{display:inline}.mw-parser-output .geo-nondefault,.mw-parser-output .geo-multi-punct{display:none}.mw-parser-output .longitude,.mw-parser-output .latitude{white-space:nowrap}66°25′S 66°26′W) are a group of small islands lying between the Bernal Islands and the Bragg Islands in Crystal Sound, off the coast of Antarctica. They were mapped from air photos obtained by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–48) and the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956–57), and from surveys by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (1958–59). They were named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Sir Ralph H. Fowler (1889–1944),[1] an English physicist, joint author with J.D. Bernal of a classic paper in 1933 on the structure of ice which suggested the location of the hydrogen atoms[2] now known as the ice rules.
