Die Foote-Inseln (englisch Foote Islands, in Argentinien Rocas Foote) sind eine kleine Gruppe verschneiter Inseln und einigen Klippen vor der Graham-Küste der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Im Crystal Sound liegen sie 20 km südöstlich des Kap Leblond der Lavoisier-Insel.

Luftaufnahmen der Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948) und zwischen 1958 und 1959 durchgeführte Vermessungen des Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) dienten ihrer Kartierung. Das UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee benannte sie 1960 nach Brian Leonard Hodson Foote (1926–2002), der für den FIDS 1957 als Funktechniker am Arthur Harbour sowie 1958 als Geodät auf der Detaille-Insel tätig und an Vermessungen im Gebiet des Crystal Sound beteiligt war.

The Foote Islands (.mw-parser-output .geo-default,.mw-parser-output .geo-dms,.mw-parser-output .geo-dec{display:inline}.mw-parser-output .geo-nondefault,.mw-parser-output .geo-multi-punct{display:none}.mw-parser-output .longitude,.mw-parser-output .latitude{white-space:nowrap}66°12′S 66°12′W) are a small group of snow-capped islands and several rocks, lying 12 nautical miles (22 km) southeast of Cape Leblond, Lavoisier Island, in Crystal Sound. They were mapped from air photos obtained by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–48) and surveys by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1958–59). They were named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Brian L.H. Foote, a FIDS radio mechanic at Arthur Harbour (1957) and a surveyor at Detaille Island (1958), who made surveys of the Crystal Sound area.[1]
