Fizalia Island (englisch; bulgarisch остров Физалия ostrow Fisalija) ist eine felsige, größtenteils vereister, in südost-nordwestlicher Ausrichtung 0,33 km lange und 0,18 km breite Insel im Palmer-Archipel vor der Westküste der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Sie liegt 4,2 km südwestlich des Kap Neumayer und 14,55 km nördlich des Awl Point vor der Nordostküste von Trinity Island.

Britische Wissenschaftler kartierten sie 1978. Die bulgarische Kommission für Antarktische Geographische Namen benannte sie am 2018 nach dem bulgarischen Trawler Fisalija, der von Dezember 1978 bis Mai 1979 unter Kapitän Iwan Krastanow zum Fischfang in den Gewässern um Südgeorgien tätig war.

Fizalia Island (Bulgarian: остров Физалия, romanized: ostrov Fizalia, IPA: [ˈɔstrof fiˈzalijɐ]) is the mostly ice-covered rocky island 330 m long in southeast-northwest direction and 180 m wide, lying off the northeast coast of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It is “named after the ocean fishing trawler Fizalia of the Bulgarian company Ocean Fisheries – Burgas whose ships operated in the waters of South Georgia, Kerguelen, the South Orkney Islands, South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula from 1970 to the early 1990s. The Bulgarian fishermen, along with those of the Soviet Union, Poland and East Germany are the pioneers of modern Antarctic fishing industry.”[1]
