Die Duchaylard-Insel (französisch Île Duchaylard) ist eine 4,5 km lange, 2,5 km breite und bis zu 556 m hohe Insel vor der Graham-Küste Grahamlands auf der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Sie liegt 1,5 km südöstlich der Vieugué-Insel und 16 km westlich des Kap García im Grandidier-Kanals.

Teilnehmer der Vierten Französischen Antarktisexpedition (1903–1905) unter der Leitung des Polarforschers Jean-Baptiste Charcot entdeckten sie. Charcot benannte sie nach dem französischen Diplomaten Jean Marie Guy Georges du Chaylard (1844–1923), Generalbevollmächtigter Frankreichs in Montevideo, der Charcots Forschungsreise vor Ort behilflich war.

Duchaylard Island (.mw-parser-output .geo-default,.mw-parser-output .geo-dms,.mw-parser-output .geo-dec{display:inline}.mw-parser-output .geo-nondefault,.mw-parser-output .geo-multi-punct{display:none}.mw-parser-output .longitude,.mw-parser-output .latitude{white-space:nowrap}65°42′S 65°7′W) is an island 3 nautical miles (6 km) long at the west side of Grandidier Channel, lying 1 nautical mile (2 km) southeast of Vieugue Island and 10 nautical miles (18 km) west of Cape Garcia, off the west coast of Graham Land. It was discovered by the French Antarctic Expedition, 1903–05, and named by Jean-Baptiste Charcot for Monsieur du Chaylard, French Minister Plenipotentiary at Montevideo, Uruguay. The recommended spelling follows the form used in Maurice Bongrain's report of 1914 and is now firmly established.[1]
