Die Demidow-Insel (russisch Остров Демидова Ostrow Demidowa) ist eine kleine Insel vor der Küste des ostantarktischen Enderbylands. Sie liegt 15 km südwestlich der Hydrographer Islands vor der Mündung des Rayner-Gletschers.

Teilnehmer einer Mannschaft der Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions kartierten sie im Jahr 1956. Teilnehmer einer sowjetischen Antarktisexpedition, welche die Insel auch benannten, wiederholten dies im selben Jahr. Namensgeber ist Dmitri Demidow, Leutnant auf dem Forschungsschiff Wostok bei der von Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen geleiteten ersten russischen Antarktisexpedition (1819–1821).

Demidov Island is a small island 9.3 kilometres (5 nmi) north of the mouth of Rayner Glacier and 17 kilometres (9 nmi) southwest of the Hydrographer Islands along the coast of Enderby Land. It appears that the island was mapped by both the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions and the Soviet expedition in 1957. It was named by the Soviet expedition for Lieutenant Dimitri Demidov of the Russian expedition of 1819–21 under Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen.[1]
