Almourol ist eine kleine Insel in der Mitte des Tajo in der Zivilgemeinde Praia do Ribatejo, die sich in Portugals Zentrumsregion befindet. Dort befindet sich das Schloss von Almourol, ein portugiesisches Nationaldenkmal. In Bezug auf den Tajo befindet sich die Insel in der Mitte, nur wenige Meter „unterhalb“ der Flüsse, die mit dem Fluss Zêzere vor der Stadt Tancos zusammenfließen.[1]

Almourol is a small islet in the middle of the Tagus river in the civil parish of Praia do Ribatejo, located in Portugal's Center Region. The Castle of Almourol, a Portuguese National Monument, is located there. In relation to the Tagus river, the islet is in the middle of it, a few meters below the rivers confluence with the Zêzere River, in front of the town of Tancos.[1]

Isla de Almourol (en portugués: Ilha de Almourol[1]) es una isla en el río Tajo (Rio Tejo, en portugués), conocida por el castillo de Almourol (castelo de Almourol[2]) en ella situado. Está cerca de Tancos, una freguesia portuguesa entre Vila Nova da Barquinha y Constância. Tiene 310 m de largo y 75 metros de ancho y se asienta en el curso medio del río Tajo, justo debajo de su confluencia con el río Cécere.
