The Fannichs are a range of mountains located in Highland, Scotland. It lies between Loch Fannich in the southeast and Loch Broom in the northwest. According to Edward Dwelly, the word "fannich" means "flat place".[1]

Die Fannichs, auch The Fannichs, schottisch-gälisch Fan(n)aichs, sind eine Berggruppe der schottischen Highlands. Selten werden sie auch als Ross-shire Alps („Rossshire-Alpen“) bezeichnet.[1] Die Fannichs bilden seit 2005 eine Site of Special Scientific Interest, die 10.907 ha umfasst.[2] Das geschützte Areal umfasst den Mittelteil der Bergkette.[3] Annähernd deckungsgleich, jedoch etwas kleiner, ist die Special Area of Conservation Fannich Hills.[4]
